The leadership helps the entire SKILES GROUP team understand a construction project from the owner’s perspective and strives to improve the process.

Clay Harrison

President

Clay has been with SKILES GROUP since 1987. He has more than 30 years of construction experience in healthcare, hospitality, church, retail and commercial industries. His areas of expertise include project management, estimating and preconstruction services. Clay oversees company operations, sets the overall company direction and is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of every project.

Dwayne Hodges

Executive Vice President

Dwayne joined SKILES GROUP in 2006. He has more than 25 years construction experience across industrial, institutional, retail, education, commercial and healthcare industries. His areas of expertise include estimating, project management and operations. Dwayne oversees business development and assists with pre-construction services staying involved with clients throughout the construction process.

Glenn Nihart

 Glenn has been with SKILES GROUP since the firm was founded in 1972. He has more than 40 years construction experience across many industries including healthcare, educational and industrial. His areas of expertise include project management, planning, scheduling and field operations. Glenn oversees all construction operations from the office to the field.

James C. Mays

Chairman of the Board

Jimmy has been with SKILES GROUP since the firm was founded in 1972. He has more than 40 years construction experience across many industries including healthcare, retail, education, commercial and industrial. His areas of expertise include operations, preconstruction services, project management, planning, scheduling, estimating and purchasing. Jimmy oversees estimating, purchasing and contractual agreements.
